I have a query on L1, I had been travelling on L1 for awhile to US and now I intend to move to US on L1 with an US organization. My question is related to legality of my stay duration at US, if my green card has been filed for processing.
As I understand ,I am not bound to L1 limit of 5 years if I have filed for a green card and havean I-485 application pending. As per my knowledge, I-485 can be filedconcurrently with the green card application.
If say, I am only eligible to stay on my L1 for 3 years (considering that I have alreadytravelled on same L1) would it be sufficient time to file for green card andI-485. Also, how is my stay duration in US calculated if I had been travellingto US on and off for past 4 years.
