In US, My husband's employer applied L2 & L1 visa extension for me and my husband, as his visa & I94 expired in August 2011.
In the mean time i came back to India. Now both of our extension petition was approved.
I have below questions, can anyone help please...

    1. Is it possible for me to travel back to US?
    2. Should i need to apply for L2 visa again in India?
    3. How long can he stay in US with his L1 visa extension with & without gettig stamped in India.
4.Is it a must to get stampped in India?

    Please reply.

Apply for L2 Visa based on your spouse's L1 petition extension approval notice and after it is issued use that to travel to US along with the L1 approval notice. One can stay in the US as long as their latest I-94.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

      L2 Extension

      Hi,

I and my daughter got our L2 approved in US. Now we are in India and are going in for stamping next week. I have few doubts on the documents that has to be carried.

I was working when i acquired the L2 primarily and produced a leave letter for the stamping, then resigned my job before leaving to US, after which i became a home maker, the question is

      1) should i carry any documents relating to my work? since i am not working for past 2 years is it necessary?

      2) My daughter is provided with an online birth certificate with which i acquired the passport and the visa, is that enough this time also? (kinda confused even it says authenticated!)

      Thanking you in anticipation!

Your work status has nothing to do with L2 Visa application. Your spouse's L1 petition approval notice and I-94 matter.

        That will be fine.

        See above.
