Stay on I-94 after L1 extension petition is withdrawn

Hello,

My L1 VISA (Along with I-94) was expiring in Aug-2011 hence applied for extension in March-2011.
However, I had to travel to India for some important reasons while the case was pending (In May-2011).

While returning back, I was issued a I-94 thats valid till May-2013. As I have extended I-94 for next 2 years, i have requested my company to withdraw my L1 extension petition.

Now my petition is withdrawn successfully and I have a valid I-94 until May-2013.

I wanted to know the following.
- Is my stay legal in US until the date specified on I-94?
- How does extension petition withdrawal impact my legal stay in US?
- WIll it impact my green card processing?

Withdrawal will not affect your stay. It is okay to do it. Your employer should mention reason for withdrawal in their letter and attach a copy of your latest I-94.
