Hi, I have recently gotten approved for my L1B extension until 2013 and need to get a stamp in my passport.
I have made an interview date for March, so plenty of time in advance.
Anyway, when I spoke to the US Embassy in booking an appointment, they said I need a I-129s original copy of the submission. I didn't think anything of it at the time, until I spoek with my company to get the original document.
My company are now saying that on a renewal, the original i-129s was submitted to USCIS and then onto the Kentucky Center for processing. They do not have the original and they also say that I should not need it.
So I am at the stage where the US Embassy is stating I need an original of something which the US Government has, and my company is saying that I don;t need that.
Anyone had any experience of this? I need to make sure I address everything before I attend my interview in Match.
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere.
