Issue with L1COS

Hi,

I'm currently working on L1 and my H1 is approved with COS.Can I still continue working for L1 for few more weeks until I get a good offer on H1?

I came to know that until my first pay check gets generated on h1,I can continue working for L1 although COS is currently H1.Please confirm

Unfortunately, you must immediately leave the L1 employer and join the H1 employer. Any employment with L1 employer is illegal.

Is their any other option here.One more thing here is my L1B was expired few months ago and my employer had applied for L1A COS.Its in RFE.We are waiting for the final response.So once my L1 gets approved with COS,so again will my latest status be L1?

That complicates things. A lot depends on when the L1A petition was filed and when the H1 petition was approved. Consult an experienced attorney of your own (different from any of the company attorneys).
