    Hi,
My L1B expires in Apr 9th 2012... my son holding L2B expires same time and I94 date also same.
Son studies in high school and his semester exam scheduled to complete in may end. School authorities not ready to give completion certificate when we leave by april 9th. My employer not ready for my visa extension. Under this circumstance...is there any form or visa that i can apply for my son to stay back for 2 months to complete his exam in may 12 and get his 9th grade completion certifcate. Then he can leave the country and continue his next grade in india....pls advise....thanks

Change of status to student Visa seems to be the only workaround possible. But there are complications involved in student visa for school education. One has to prove that the cost of education has been repaid to the school etc.

An easier workaround is the talk to the school authorities and ask them if they can let him take early exams and pass those. They can sometime make an exception.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
