my wife goes to her L2 stamping with my new I797 petition on June 25. the visa in my passport expires on June 10. although she has all the papers (1797, payslips, etc.), how much importance will consulate give to the photocopy of my visa? US Consulate Calcutta web site says that if dependent is applying separately, they need a photocopy of my passport with a valid visa. since she goes on june 25, it may not be valid. any thoughts ? Please advise
