Hi All,
I have a query regarding L1 visa. My company[GE] and Microsoft are joining hands and starting a new company headquartered in US and few branches in outside of US [India and China].
As I have been working with my company for more than 6 years, I have requested to give position in US office and the management kind of agreed to it. Now my question, since it is a new company, will company is eligible to apply for L1 visa based on expertise and knowledge I have?
My concern is that few people are telling me that I must work atleast 1 year in India before moving to US on L1.
Please clarify the questions.
