Biometrics for EAD renewal

Hi All,

I recently apllied for EAD renewal ,I have two doubts
1. Will the biometrics be taken for EAD renewal applicants also ( if so for how long will I get the appointment after submitting the application for renewal)
2. What will be the total processing time for EAD renewal.

Are you applying manual or online? I think they treat renewals the same as the new EADs. I mean biometrics is required for online applications and not mandatory for manual filing. I am not sure how much time it takes for biometrics in case of online applications.

Processing time will be any time between 45 and 90 days generally. Also note that processing times varies depending upon the case and the processing center.
