**urgent l1b to l1a conversion

Hi,

I am from India and currently in US on a valid I-94. My L1B visa expired on April 2011. Now my company applied for L1A and got approved. My Questions are

1. Should I go to India for L1A stamping?

2. Can I do the stamping in Canada or Mexico?

3. What documents should I carry for the visa interview?

1. Should I go to India for L1A stamping?
>>> Visa is only an entry document to U.S. If your L1A came with a new I-94, then you can continue to work. Yu need to get the visa stamped only when you go out of U.S and want to re-enter back in L1A.
