Have valid and unused L1B ,Can i utilize it for another client locd' at another state

Hi Everybody,

I have valid L1B visa applied for one client say X in September 2011.Then, I moved out of that account as I was not interested to go to US that time and now I am into a new account for another client say Y.

I have not utilized the L1B visa even once for client X.
Will I be able to travel for client Y? I was informed by my company that I won't be able to travel as I ahev not used my L1B for client X and that I must have travelled atleast once for client X.

Any advice ?

I think you can still use your L1 visa to work for Client Y.
