Need information for L2

Hi,

L1 is filed for me by my company. I m recentyly married and have marriage registration certification in hand. But my wife does not have my name in her passport and even I dont have her name in my passport as my spouse. Is marriage certification is sufficient or is it mandatory that her name should be in my passport or vice versa. Please help me with required information.
