L1B Visa duration

Greetings,

I have L1B visa valid till Oct-2012 and completing 5 years with current extension, have couple of questions.

1. Can I still apply for L1B visa extension for 2/1 more years?
2. If this is last extension then Can I ask my company to apply H1B for me?
3. How long we can stay with L1B visa?
4. Feel free to suggest in-case you have any suggestion?

>>> No. L1B is valid only for 5 year.

>>> Well, you can try. If the petition gets approved, you will have one more year. L1 + H1B together is for 6 years.

3. How long we can stay with L1B visa?
>>> 5 years.

I heard that If You have L1B visa then Green card will processed in much faster way, Can any one confirm or give more info?

That is not true. You need to be in L1A for that.
