L1 individual petition not yet approved

Hi,

My company applied L1 individual(premium processing) on feb 21,2012.still i didn't receive any response.how to check my status.can any one tell me what is the max period to approve the petition.

i enquired my company VISA consultant.she told that she can't confirm until and unless they receive mail from USCIS.Please suggest me regarding this.

Did they receive the receipt notice from USCIS? If not, the petition did not even reach USCIS. The lawyer should have receipt the receipt notice within 1-2 weeks of submitting the documents. Once you get the receipt notice, go to uscis.gov website and enter the receipt number in the tracker and find out when your petition was filed. If it is filed in premium, your should get the result within 15 days from the date of receipt notice.
