  • L1B to L1 Tranfer, L2 EAD impact

    Hi,

    I have 2 questions:

    1. I'm planning to change from L1 B to L1 A and my spouse is working on L2. Will he need a new EAD when I transfer from L1B to L1A or can he continue working on the original EAD - its valid till end of next year

    2. What is the approval chances of L1A these days.

    Thanks so much

    >>> He can use the existing EAD to work. Irrespective of whether you are in L1A or L1B, your status will remain to be L1 and your spouse's status will remain to be L2. So the same EAD can be used.

    2. What is the approval chances of L1A these days.
    >>> No one is keeping track of the approvals and rejections. If you are eligible for L1A, then you should get it without any issued. Search and read the eligibility criteria for L1A in uscis.gov.
