L1A ext- Stamping in Canada

Hi,

Could anyone share their experiences of getting stamping done in Canada?

my L1A extension got approved and is valid till Mar 2013 and then I will complete 7years on L1A.

Also, while visitng Canada for short duration( <10days), does US border people take away I-94?


Any help is appreciated.
