I have L1B and have applied for H1b COS from another company.
Now L1 company is asking to go back to India. What will happen to my H1 now ?

It should technically get approved for consular process (Without a new I-94). Once approved, get the H1B stamped and return back. If it gets approved with a new I-94, then follow the below link to return that I-94 back to CBP. You should not have any I-94 with you when you are outside U.S.

You can go for visa stamping. Whether you get an I-94 with the approval or not has nothing to do with the visa stamping.
