L1B to H1B transfer Questions : Urgent!

Hi,

My husband came to US on Auguest 2010 in L1b visa for the Company A. He applied for new H1-B for Company B in April 2011(Premium Processing) and it got approved on April 15 2011. He continued working on L1B till October 21st for Company A and then moved to Company B to work on H1B. Is this Valid?. He is planning to go for Visa Stamping tis month end. Will it give any issues? Kindly help me on this. I am very much afraid.

What was the H1B effective date? Look at the approved H1B petition and find out the H1B effective date. Did the H1B approval come with a new I-94?

The H1 didn't come with the new 1-94. I have to check the h1 effective date.

If the H1B didn't come with the new I-94, then how did your husband joined H1B sponsor? Did he leave the country and return back in H1B visa? Read the H1B approval notice clearly. Did it say that it was approved for consulr process and the person should get the visa stamped and return back to work for the H1B employer?
