Hi.. i have a QA profile. I am functionally and technically sound on proprietery tools.This is the first time i am going for Visa interview and seeing rejection rate, nit nervous too.Going through this forum, i have analysed that only 2 ques will decide ur fate..I do not know how should convince the consulate on below ques...Please help...

1. Why your project needs to be done from US ?

I think you or your PM should be able to answer that question. If your job position in US requires specialized skills, knowledge of tools/processes which only you have both in US and outside US, you have to highlight those skillsets. If those require you to be present in US then you have the reason. You have to look around yourself within the team and ask the question, if the job that you are doing cannot be performed by anyone else in the team and it requires one to be in US then you have to highlight those aspects. this is my personal opinion do consult with experts in your team and domain too.

I have consulted with my PM as suggested by you... my PM suggests that answer should be like..there will be very frequent interactions and due to difference in offshore and onshore timings..this would not be possible...will this answer help ? or does it really looks convincing ????

The next question the VO might ask is why someone already in US cannot do it or why someone in US cannot be hired to do so. I would suggest you concentrate on your speciality skills, may be a new process/procedure that you have good knowledge of to be implemented in the US office/client office a new tool to be used at client office/US office etc. You should be knowing the nature of work that you would be doing in US and be able to demonstrate your uniqueness and speciality in those.
