    L1 to L2, Notice Period current Company

    Hi

    Currently i am on L1 visa working with X company. I have applied for CHANGE OF STATUS to L2. Once L2 gets approved, as i need to resign from my company, will i be able to serve the 2 weeks notice period (being on L2 visa).

    No. You should stop working immediately upon the L2 effective date. It is illegal to work in L2 status without an EAD.

        Yes, you can work until your status changes to L2. You wil remain to be in L1 status until the L2 is approved.
