Validity of visa in case of splitting of name

Hi,

I am currently in US on an L-1 visa, however, have the FNU issue in my passport and visa. I have not been able to get the drivers license due to this. Need to get a new passport with the name split.

Please confirm what will be the status of visa after the new passport is issued.

Please help.
