L1 petiion date and Interview date

Dear Members,

I need your guidance on below:
My interview is scheduled for May 10, 2012 and while filling the DS-160 form and scheduling interview date used was what mention in the petition papers which is May 4, 2012.

Can someone please guide me if it is an issue where-in Petition start-date is earliar than the Visa stamping interview date.

Will appreciate early response.

Sorry for confusion:

More precisely: I have petition paper ((Form I-797)) which has"Start-date of employment" as May 4, 2012 and and end as three years after that.

While submitting Ds160 form, i used the same date (as per I-797) for intended date of travel.

Now, interview date is not available till May 10. am worrying if this can cause any issue?
