Help regarding L1B extension details

Hi ,

My Visa expires on 25-Aug-2012. When can i apply for extension ? how long it will take to know whether the extension approved or not ? what does RFE means ? how many RFE and how time i will get to reply to RFE ? what documents i need to submit for L1B extension or any detail process ..

>>> 2-3 months by normal process and 15 days by premium.

what does RFE means ?
>>> Request for evidence.

>>> In most cases there will be only 1 RFE. If the documents requested in the RFE are not submitted, then the extension will be denied. The time for responding to the RFE will be mentioned in the RFE document.

what documents i need to submit for L1B extension or any detail process ..
>>> Pretty much the same set of documents that you gave your employer while processing L1 for the first time + the L1 approval notice, copy of L1 visa and I-94. The employer/lawyer will let you know what they need.
