L1 Visa Appointment Question

Hello,
I am currently in the US since 2009 on L1 . I recently got my L1A visa extension approved and will be travelling to india on a vacation. I need to get the stamping done as the current one in the passport has expired.

While scheduling the Visa interview in Chennai Consulate for L1 stamping, it asks for the state of residency .Should I provide the home state in india? or Should I give CA ?
