  • ** H1B Visa rejected & now going for L2 stamping

    All,

I had a strange situation. I was in US for the past few years and my H1B visa has been rejected after i was issued a 221g in Jan. And now i'm going for L2 visa stamping, can anyone share their experiences/thoughts on this ? Your help is greatly appreciated

I'm also looking for answers to questions

1.What will you do in US? Are you going to work there?

2.Also does the duration of stay in US (long/short) makes any difference?

    thanks,
    Varma

    >>> Rejection of H1B will not have any impact on L2 as long as the reason for rejection is not you (Like **** documents, criminal records etc).

I'm also looking for answers to questions

1.What will you do in US? Are you going to work there?
    >>> You can mention that you plan to be a dependent of the L1 holder.

2.Also does the duration of stay in US (long/short) makes any difference?
    >>> No. You can mention the intended duration of stay as per the L1 petition expiry date.
