  • Extending L1 B if L1 A conversion gets denied

    Hi,

My L1 B expires on Oct 2012 and I will be maxed out on 2014 May.As I was preparing for extension of L1B, My company asked me to convert my L1B to L1 A as I am doing a managerical role.
My question is , for some reason, if my L1 A conversion gets denied, can I still extend my L1 which is expiring on Oct 2012

    Thanks for the help.

Yes, as long as the extension is filed before your current I-94 expiry date.
Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.
