Renewal of L2 - EAD

My spouse L1 and my L2: I-94 is valid till Mar 2013 but I got my EAD till Sep 2012 only. Please let me know if I can get my EAD extended till Mar 2013 or this can be done only when primary L1 is extended.

EAD is not issued based on the I-94 expiry date. It is issued based on the petition expiry date. When is the L1 petition expiring?

Yes. Not sure why you got the EAD for a lesser duration at the first place. Is your passport valid until 2013 March?
