L1B VISA Expiring July 2012 - I-94 valid till Dec 2013

Hello Immigration experts - I have a question here and would really appreciate your help here. I am working on L1-Blanket status.

I129S is valid till 21st July 2012
L1-B VISA stamp is passport valid till 21st July 2012
I797 is valid for indefinitely
I-94 is valid till 5th December 2013

Does my employer need to file for a L1-B extension for me to continue working in US.

Also I would like to know if the employer files for a L1-B extension what forms do I get in return from USCIS ?

Thanks Sherwin - I would need another piece of advice here. If a L1-Blanket extension is filed does USCIS also sends a new I-129S and I-94

Yes, the extension will come with an approval notice and an I-94 attached to it.

However if the L1-B extension is not submitted, the existing I-94 and 1-797 and I-129S would not require any changes. Atleast before 6 months of expiry of I-94.

Is that a correct understanding for this procedure, and in this scenario what is the use of I-129S form

>>> Yes. EOS need to be filed only within 6 months of I-94 expiry date. There is no need to file it before that.

and in this scenario what is the use of I-129S form

Thanks for your valuable information, I have same case, I just want to know what is the affect on L2 in this case

1. My L1 is expiring on Aug 2012 and i94 is valid till Aug 2014. can continue working in US?
2. My wife's L2 is expiring on Aug 2012 and i94 is valid till OCT 2014. can she stay in US.
3. HER EAD is valid till DEC 2013 Can she continue work here in US base on point 2?
