  • L1A and H1B

My L1A approved from June'12 to May'14. My company also filled H1B, which also approved for consular processing, effective date from Oct'12.I would like to stay in L1 as my spouse is working L2 EAD. Please suggest best way to stay in L1 status. thanks much

Since your H1B is approved for Consular process (make sure there is no new I-94 attached to the approval. If not, it s not CP, it is a COS), you will remain to be in L1 status until the L1 I-94 expiry date. So your spouse will remain to be in L2 status and she can continue to work in EAD.
