Applying for L1B with H1B in initial review status

Hi ,

I have applied for H1B Visa for this cap year (2012-2013) through company X.
I got receipt notice for this last month (May 2012) and its in "INITIAL REVIEW" state.

But now current employer company Y, is applying for L1B immediately for an assignment this month and i will be going for the interview next week based on your views and inputs.

Will there be a problem for L1B visa now because of current H1B?

Will H1B in Initial Review State is considered for the decision of L1B?

Will i be asked why i applied for H1B and now still going with L1B?

Please help me in clearing my confusions.

Are you currently inside or outside U.S? Was the H1B petition filed when you are outside U.S?
