  • L1A-Does is count if u were in the US the year you've worked w/ parent company?

    Hello!

Question: I have been working for a foreign company in the US while I was on my OPT status after graduate school. Now, can that experience count for me to apply to a L1a visa? It says i need to have worked for the company for at least one year. That year happened, but in the US - do you think I would qualify?

THnaks so much in advance for your insight!

You do not qualify. L1 is for intra company transfer from a foreign entity to the U.S entity of the same company. Read the eligibility in the below link.
