  • L1-A individual approved : new I-94 issued

I recieved my L1-A approved petition today. I was in the US on L1-b all these days.
My company applied for my L1-A recently. USCIS has approved my petition and has issued a new I94 till June 2014.

Based on my approved new L1 - A petition, can I apply for my wife and kids visa while I am still in the US?

    Anybody please help.

Yes you can apply for their L2 visas. All the best.

Are your dependents currently outside U.S? Are you asking about applying visas for your dependents at the U.S consulate or about filing L2 petitions with USCIS?

Sir/Madam, thank you for your quick reply.
Yes my family is currently outside US. I should have mentioned that earlier.

Can I apply for their L2 visas in US Consulate abroad ( and not L2 petitions ) based on my new L1A approved petition and new validity I94?

Do they need an L2 petition to apply for an L2 visa?

        Thanks
        Vijay

Yes, they can apply for L2 visas based on your approved L1 petition at U.S consulate. You cannot file L2 petitions with USCIS for your dependents who are outside U.S.
