L1 Blanket Length of Stay

I am on L1 Blanket visa staying in US from Dec 2008. Earlier visa was expired in 2011 and I got a new visa when I went back on vacation and returned back to US. The latest visa is valid till 2014 and same date is given on I-94. Ideally, my 5 year tenure on L1 will be ended in 2013, however my new I-94 is valid till 2014. Can I stay until my I-94 expiry or I have to return in 2013??

The responsibility of following the L1 regulation is on you. You cannot take advantage of the mistake of issuing an I-94 that is valid for morethan 5 years. You should leave when you have completed 5 years on L1. Otherwise it can have impacts on your future visa application, petition and GC process.
