Shorter visits on L1B

Question:

During 1 year stay outside USA for clock reset ( 5 Year for L1B or 6 Years for H1B) , are shorter visits less than a month on L1B visa allowed?

For example, look at the entry & exit dates below on L1B. Between 2007 Sept & 2008 Sept, though there is a gap of 365 days, there were couple of shorter visits ( 20 days & 29 days). In this scenario is the clock reset from 28-Sep-2008?

Any visit to U.S on L1 or H1B will not reset the clock to get a fresh 6 year period. Only shortt visits on B2 are allowed.
