Extension of L2 EAD

Hi,

Currently I am working on L2 EAD which is set to expire on Feb 2013. My husband's visa as well as my visa are valid till Oct 2013. Our I-94s are also valid till Oct 2013.

My questions are

1. Initially when I applied for my EAD in Dec 2010, USCIS gave me EAD for apprx 2 yrs. Can I apply for extension of my EAD before Feb 2013 ?

2. What are the chances of approval of renewal application ?

>>> Yes. You cannot work once the current EAD expires until the new one gets approved. So file the extension 3-4 months prior to the expiry date.

2. What are the chances of approval of renewal application ?
>>> No one can predict what an individuals chances are. You need to apply and find it for yourself.
