Hi All,
My I94 is expiring in Aug 2012 but visa is valid till March 2013. Also my company had applied for an L1B Extension, about a month ago, for which i have got an RFE already. In this case is it still possible to get a new I94, valid till my visa expiry, by simply going to the CBP office at the nearest International airport ? or by going out of USA for a day or two and get a new I94 valid till my visa expiry ?
Also if i get the I94 extended by either of the means mentioned above, what do i need to do with the extension process that already is in RFE status ? If i do not respond to RFE by the estimated date, the case will be denied. In that case will the extended new I94 be considered valid or not ? Please reply as its an urgent matter. Appreciate the response and help.
