need information for Registration of birth and Indian passport for USA born baby

Hello,

I am in USA (Atlana GA) on L1B visa and I have only 45 day to return back in India so that,
I want to registration of birth and Indian passport of my new born baby in USA. Can we do both the process parallel?
How much time it will take. What are the documents required for that.

Kindly reply on same, it would be highly appreciate if I will get the answer soon.
