Travel for my company on a L2 visa from husband's company

My husband is going to US on L1 and I will be shifting from my B1 to L2 visa. Our family will join him after 6 months. During these 6 months -

1. Can I travel on official travel on the L2 visa for my current company?
2. Can I request my company to do an intra company transfer on my L2?

Thx.

1. You can travel to US on L2 as long as primary L1 is also in US and is maintaining proper status. Your company is no where involved in it. You cannot work for your company on US soil without getting an EAD first.

2. There is nothing called intra company transfer on L2.
