Hello, I have a question regarding my L1. I got an L1 Blanket from my employer in 2009 and got my visa stamped in chennai consulate. Now I am unable to find my I-797. My question is , in case of L1 Blanket, does the consulate officer keep the original I-797 at the time of interview or it is returned back to the employee? Could you guys tell based on your experience?

First, you are not given original I-797 by the employer in case of blanket L1. They have only one original for all the cases - that is blanket L1.Immihelp Support

Anybody with L1 blanket, could advise what happened in their case?
In any case, your company immigration lawyer should be able to advise you on what is needed.
