How to get approved L1 visa stamped on my passport

I work in Mumbai in a company and my usa based lawyer (appointed by company) applied for my l1 visa in usa and it has got approved frm there,he has send me all documents from there which were used for filling up my application fom*

I want to know how to get that l2 visa stamped on my passport? I have alredy a Business visa on my passport since 2008 and i have travelled to usa so many times. The visa is valid for 6 more years.

I have been told to apply online DS160 for myelf and family and then go to mumbai consulate ,carrying all my papers which were send by lawyer and all personal papers of mine* and family .

Is this right route ??
While filling up the form online when i tick i have earleir applied for usa visa and its valid then dont no how to go ahead as noehtr my visa is expired nor was its rejected ....so its asking reasons for applying
