Surname is too long and not able to enter last 2 letters in DS160 Form

Hi

My Surname is too long and not able to enter last 2 letters in DS160 Form, Can anyone suggest me some way to sort it out.

I am applying for L1B Visa, I got to know something related to Process and not very clear.

My company has a petition which was approved in 2009 and same number is given to me. But how actually I-129 to be filed...company will file petition for a set of employees just before travel (eg before 3months)?
