L1A renewal pending- Can another employer hire me now?

I was in the U.S on L1B from Oct'06-Sep'09, and then went back to India and came back on a L1A in Dec'09 and have been here since.
My current L1A Visa expires in Nov'12, however my I-94 expires in Mar'15. Can another employer hire me on their rolls in the next 3-6 months, and if yes, what Visa/Green card they should do for me?

On L1 one cannot change employer. To change employer you need to get an H1, the current H1 Cap is already over and the next one will open only in April 2013 and one can start work only from Oct 2013. This is my opinion not legal advice.
