L1B Visa - Client & location change (travelled to petioned client once for 2 weeks)

Dear Sir\Mam,

I am a regular follower of **** **** **** **** and while going through L1B forum, found your details. Could you please have a look at my case and share your inputs on the same-

My Case-

I have L1B visa petitioned for Client A and had travelled to the petitioned client A for 2 weeks this year.Now, we have resource requirements in another project - Client B with the same skillset located at different location .

Could you please confirm as per immigration laws for L1B non immigrant workers, that whether I am eligible for Client change and location change i.e relocation in petition as I had just stayed for 2 weeks for client A in US?

Wouldn't I be facing any issue while processing my relocation process and at POE in US as I had just stayed for 2 weeks for client A.

Plz advise.


Some 1 told me that You cannot travel to new client until I usethe petion for client A for min. 4 months ( i.e I should work for Client A location for min 4 months in US)

Your L visa is not directly dependent upon your client location. Your L visa is through your employer.

There is no rule of 4 months.
