    1. The petitioner company has to be the USA company? The USA company is just registered so it doesn’t have sales.

    3. Where are the interviews? In USA or in the Country where the Beneficiary are, in this case Colombia?
    4. Most of the support documentation is in Spanish, so we have to translate it, Do we have to use an certified translator or those documents have to be sealed by a certified translator?
    5. Can we make the application by ourselves or is there a requirement to do it through a lawyer?

      I-129 L1-A Application Fee

      Thanks a lot for your answer;

      We want to send an I-129 L-1A application for three people, and we have some questions:

      1. Do we have to pay the I-129 base fee (US325) and also the Fraud Fee for H1 and L petitions (US500)?

      We are confused because according to the document “Instructions for Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker” the Fraud fee for H1B and L Petitions is required for “a U.S. employer seeking initial approval of H-1B or L nonimmigrant status for a beneficiary, or seeking approval to employ an. H-1B or L nonimmigrant currently working for another U.S. employer”.

      There is two aspects to have in mind:
      1. We want to make an L-1A manager or executive to open a new office.
      2. This is the first time we feel the application.

      Thanks a lot for your kindly help.

      Best Regards;

      Daniel V.

          Thanks a lot for your sooner answer;

          If we have to pay this Fraud Fee (USD500); Do we have to pay the aditional USD2250?

          -----------------------------
          Those petitioners required to submit the $500 Fraud Prevention and Detection fee may also be required to submit either an additional $2,000 (H-1B) or $2,250 (L-1) fee mandated by Public Law 111-230, as amended by Public Law 111-347 if:

          1. The petitioner employs 50 or more individuals in the United States (We Don't).
          2. More than 50% of those employees are in H-1B or L nonimmigrant status, AND (We Don't)
          3. The Petition is filed before October 1, 2014. (Yes)
          ----------------------------

          Thanks a lot for your Help;
          Best Regards;
