L1 to H1 COS

I am on L1B Blanket with company A and I applied for H1B this year which is approved and It has a I94 attached to it which is printed "void" all over. What does this mean?

2) How long can I continue to work on my current L1 and do I need to immediately change to the employer B who filed my H1?
3) Can I transfer my H1 to new employer without working with employer who filed my H1? Is there any issue in this transfer process?
4) Should my payroll start processing immediately from the new employer or do I get 30 days concession to find a new job while transferring from L1 to H1?

Please answer, I need this immediately.

What you have is probably courtesy copy of the approval notice. You should ask your H1 employer for the final approval notice. Did your read the notice? Does it state that change of status is approved? If so your status will change to H1 from the effective date and any employment with L1 employer will be illegal. Also, not being employed with the H1 employer from that date will make you out of status.
