I need some help

Hi there,
I apologize in advance if I'm posting this in the wrong forum.

So, I am an American citizen, and I've been living in Israel for the past 20 years.
My partner for the past 7 years and I have decided that we wish to move to the US for a few years, in-order to work and advance in our careers. The simple thing would be to just get married and get him a green card, but since we are a gay couple that's not an option for us.
So this is why I'm posting this; what other options do we have???
We don't have enough money for an investor's visa, and getting him an H1-B is really hard
Can anyone here help?

another option would be to work in an international company in israel for at least a year and then try to transfer to a job in the US with the same company (=L1 visa).

Wait a few months. If you're lucky, and Obama wins again and stops stalling, same-sex couples could be recognised for immigration purposes.
