I-129 Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker

Hi friends,

I'm a Stage Director and currently in the US on a valid O-1B visa expiring May 30, 2013.

My new employer/agent just filed a I-129 petition to extend my O-1B visa but forgot to put the requested duplicates (copies) of the I-129 Petition plus supporting documentation into the package.

Let me add that we're not going for consular processing as I'm in the country.

How will USCIS react on the missing duplicates? Anyone experience with that?

Your help and advice is greatly appreciated.

It does not hurt to send those across immediately after receiving the receipt.
USCIS may send a request for evidence or they may straightaway deny the petition, one cannot predict.

Thanks a lot. Let's see what happens. But sending the duplicates right away after getting the receipt seems like worth trying.

My O-1B Visa three year extension got approved today after nine days. Hooray for Vermont Service Center.
