We had applied NI Visa from Abu Dhabi. Myself my wife and two kids. Interview given 7th of Feb 2013. Got yellow paper saying administrative processing check on website after week. After week time my wife visa status changed to submit your passport to embassy via mpost for visa issuance. But my case still under administrative processing since 7th feb 2013. We have given interview in same counter. Please advise when my AP will over.

Which type of visa did you applied, The AP can take from few weeks to months, I had my L1-b blanket visa with my spouse and daughter and its also under AP i had interview from islamabad. What questions they asked from you and your wife?Originally posted by efforts View PostComment

I had the interview on Feb 2013.
Today Marks 100th day waiting for AP. I applied for a non immigrant visa.
I've studied in the USA. Visited twice after graduating. Never over-stayed or had any intention of immigrating.
I've been having Visas to the USA since 2000. Never ever an issue.
I have a couple of middle eastern friends (like me) and residing in the UAE. One of them applied December 15 2012 and still under AP. My uncle had to wait 6 months under AP before he finally got it.
Another friend applied with his wife and daughter, they got it immediately after the interview early January he has been waiting under AP since then up to date. He missed his sons graduation in the US.
I guess we are all in the same boat. Its very frustrating. Same response form the embassy every time.

Bachelor degree from USA (2009). 3-year US Visa expired on May 11 2013.
Been having US visas since 2000 (5 years of which for Student Visa). First time waiting under AP this long.
Frustration and sadness level: infinite.Comment

I've heard all this AP takes place at the embassy itself...I fail to comprehend how ANY process can take this time.
I've emailed them multiple times always same response...
