U Visa and H-1B Visa

Hi there,

I have applied for U Visa and would know the result by next year. I need clarification as whether it is possible that i can also File for H-1B in the next few months. Also, Is there a way to change my status from U-Visa to H-1B Visa later when i have been granted U visa ; Since in U visa there are lot of restrictions in travel.

Can someone guide me . What should i do?

Hi

I'm not sure weather u-visa holder can change the status to H1b visa. But the you can apply for Green card by filing I-485 for change of status as permanent resident(for avoiding travel restrictions).
