Hi,
I have attended H4 (dependent) visa interview today and got refused with 221(g) because of the reason that I have married to my first cousin ( VO replied that the cousin marriage is illegal in USA and gave a white slip with the case number on it. My case is currently under administrative processing).
Seems like this is legal in some states. If my husband moves to other state where the cousin marriage is legal can i re-appear for the Visa? If yes, what documents are needed.
My husband works in Ohio and as per the state law first or second cousin marriage is illegal.
Please advice.
